LOCAL RESEARCH
Our research committee works tirelessly to review proposals from local researchers seeking our yearly Sheffield Memorial Research Grant. Named for a founding member of the support group, most individual grants are about $10,000, but we have provided over $366,000 in grants over the years! Some of these grants have allowed local researchers to qualify for larger grants from other organizations.
NATIONAL RESEARCH
From funds raised at our annual POP Walk fundraising and awareness event, we have contributed to national research efforts seeking better diagnosis, treatment, and a cure for Parkinson's disease, including the Parkinson's Foundation and the Michael J. Fox Foundation, among others.
